Pokemon was created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996 and published by Japanese video game company Nintendo. It was originally released as a pair of interlinkable Game Boy RPG games called Pocket Monsters Red and Pocket Monsters Green and later renamed Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue when they were released in the United States.
Having six generations of Pokemon games, the franchise is as succesful as ever, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y being the latest installments released in 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS.

Customizing T-shirts!!!!!!!

The current generation that we live in is all about freedom of speech. We want what we want—and we’ll take the means necessary to make sure our voice is heard—through parades, posters, rallies, you name it. However, the most popular form of speaking your opinion that is sweeping the nation:customizing t-shirt.

What better way to voice your opinion through a shirt? Not only is this a unique way to portray your own thoughts and ideas, but it’s fun—and you get the attention you want.

Most political shirts are funny and ironic, poking at both sides of the political spectrum. In other words, everyone is up for a roast. There are multiple ways in creating your own shirts either by purchasing pre-made political shirts, or creating ones of your very own. Apparel is the new platform for voicing your opinion also seen as a sort of “rebel”. Shirts can help display you and what you want to happen in this country. Many young adults can be seen sporting the “Rock the Vote” shirt around election season, this gets the younger generation to want to involve others in politics, and lets their voice and opinion be heard. This example shows how politics can be fun and rewarding—not only are you creating your own visual image, but you’re allowing others to see just how important implementing your opinion is.

Customizing your own t-shirt to express your voice and opinion can be a new way to change the way politics is looked at. For most of the younger generation, the voice just wants to be heard. By reaching out and creating interesting and eye catching shirts that include a funny message, a quirky image, or a symbolic feature, your voice can be reached and expressed. Customizing t-shirts is a great way to not only portray your opinions, but it’s a great method to make a definitive statement. Now, more than ever, they are used as a political platform for the government to see. Whether it’s supporting the current system, or trying to change it, it can be used to influence decisions that are being made in our country. Not only can you spread your message, but you can do it through a creative and unique presentation.

My Favorite Superheroes

The title explains it all. When I was a kid I grew up with Superman, Batman and Spiderman so naturally they became my favorite superheroes. I love both DC and Marvel superheroes and I don’t really understand why people need to choose a side and hate the other.

Superman.
My all time favorite superhero like most people. He’s an ideal of humanity and the irony behind it is that despite being an alien with godlike powers he’s as human as the rest of us due to the way Jonathan and Martha Kent raised him. His selfless attitude, compassion and desire to always do the right thing are traits we all could learn from and aspire to in real life.

Batman.
He’s the most complex superhero in my opinion. he’s a great hero because of his ability to overcome superpowers with his intellect, gadgets and fighting skills. Batman is an example for all of us that if we set our minds to something we can do or be anything we choose to be.

Spiderman.
I grew up watching the 90′s TV shows and at first Spiderman’s unique abilities and funny wisecracks kept me in front of the TV all day. He’s someone we can all relate to and even though he may make mistakes or screw up in the end he’s dedicated to do the right thing and carries on fighting thanks to those immortal wise words : ” With great power comes great responsability “.

They say growing up is stupid!!!

Why am I telling you all that? Cause I’ve just met Jaime Yu III, artist/illustrator at Stupid Tees. They are a unique brand of artistic design and characters inspired by toy collecting, monsters, and of course the 80′s!
